What is the issue? DOI imports were missing authors due to Crossref metadata issues
In the last week I reported two such DOI which had missing DOI from AIP under the DOI prefix 10.1063
At least two I imported via Scolia->quickstatements were missing authors and had the authors manually entered:
10.1063/1.2187914
10.1063/1.1945135
I flagged via crossref support and these appear fixed now, but I'm not sure how broad this issue was.
Why is this a problem? Missing data for author disambiguation could be broader than these two, it is unclear as I did not explore past what I was working on, but worth checking.
How could this be addressed? Run a check against crossref for the existing imported DOI with 10.1063/ domains to check if all authors were imported.
What are good places to discuss this?
