Maintenance Status?

First, thanks for work on this library!

Second, it looks like it's not getting as much love as it could. There are a bunch of open issues that could be triaged, a few pull requests that could be merged in, and even some issues that potentially break the whole library, such as https://github.com/Vydia/react-native-background-upload/issues/231

I'm wondering if the maintainers would like additional help so we can make this library even better?

to the maintainers - loved using this, great api and worked well. But do to newer build issues and some issues around notifications on android, I've decided to move off the library. too many stale PRs not worth contributing with inactivity like that.

We no longer have any react native projects and can't justify spending business time on this project, so all maintaining is being done by active users from the community, primarily @reime005 who's been doing an amazing job on very limited capacity.

@petrbela and @bneigher are you interested in helping out and being added as maintainers?

Hey @TSMMark, could you consider putting a notice at the top of the README page that the library is currently not being actively maintained and is looking for a new maintainer? This would greatly help people who are considering using this library make an informed decision, as well as maybe speed up finding a new maintainer. Thanks for all your work on this project!
