Crashes on startup with most recent x86 update

I switched to x86 to keep up with the security update today, as x64 is no longer being updated, and it seems autorun now causes GMod to close at the main menu. Unsure if autorun has been broken for longer, or if today's update is causing problems. This is on Windows 10.

do you perhaps load any modules when in menu?
