Either the extension no longer works and/or YouTube updated their page and added another place to annoy people with shorts, but shorts appear at the top of subscription feeds.

YT must have updated logic again. On my side I still have shorts hidden on subscription page in list and grid modes.

Please provide a html element of this shorts section. Should be under tag name: ytd-item-section-renderer (or different now since it has changed) when in list mode.

They must have updated again. It appeared for days and days, then when I went to get the html element, it was gone.

Made sure other extensions where turned off in case something else started blocking it, but it was still gone, so I'm guessing YouTube changed again. Maybe it was only a test to begin with.

Could be they have backout the change for now.

Using a VPN could also give you a different version of YouTube website, because when Youtube rolls out features they send it to random user accounts and/or based on a region user is in.

I can also see that Live section in Subscriptions, without VPN. Looks like it's a new "feature".

Also, this "upcoming" wasn't hidden in my Subscriptions menu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGu5wmy2q3g even though I have selected to be hidden.

Atm I don't have any upcoming vids on my feed, also I clicked on the hide Shors in subscriptions menu, so I can't provide details on that :( Next time I will copy the element.

@mrx23dot The snippet you have sent has missing top most element above div. Here is an example I have used for testing. In example tag above div is ytd-rich-item-renderer so I have used it together with your snippet. On my side hiding that element works.

Maybe YT has changed the top most tag from ytd-rich-item-renderer to something else. Please see if that tag is now different. (you can also look at the other video elements if you don't currently see UPCOMING video)
