Move the refresh action to a swipedown instead of a button
Describe your suggested feature
I think the refresh action should be a swipedown gesture.
Why? Because virtually all browsers and apps do it this way, so it would be more familiar to people, and as a bonus, the space the button occupied could be used for other things that can't be done with gestures.

While the feed page is on the top position, a swipe down can refresh the feed. But suppose the user has scrolled down and wants to refresh at that position, then the refresh button is immediately accessible. In contrast, the swipe down action would not function unless the user scrolls back to the top of the feed. Can you provide any suggestions about how the UX can be improved?

Maybe, the app could detect when you've scrolled up for a few sec/ms and then show the refresh button. Or there could be a dedicated top section of the feed to the refresh action.
