Trying to set up autologin with IBind Oauth

I’m trying to set up automatic authentication with IB.

I followed the instructions here: OAuth 1.0a in ibind. However, I still get authentication prompts in the IBKey app.

My questions:

• Is this simply because my OAuth setup has not yet been approved by IB?
• Is there a way to check the status of my account regarding OAuth approval?
• Or is it not possible to set up fully automatic login/authentication, meaning I must authenticate manually every day?

I also tried configuring automatic 2FA using SMS, but IB support responded that this is no longer possible.

I don't know, possibly that's the cause. IBKR support should be able to answer this better. Note that it can take anything from a day to up to a couple of weeks to have this approved, according to other users.

Not as far as I'm aware of. Once again, their support should help you.

It is possible, you're doing the right thing. I hope it gets approved and working soon.
