Zabbix Datasource Support?
Hello @reecewebb , We currently are not working with Zabbix, so I won't be able to add this soon, but I did mark your suggestion as an enhancement. Feel free to fork us, and then make a pull request if you wish 😄

My boss gave me a link to this github repo, he also wants to see it in our Grafana dashboard based on Zabbix datasource, so yes it will be really great when there´s also Zabbix datasource support.
Appears to be provisional support for Zabbix when only digits are returned. When returning chars, it appears to fail. For example: Uptime (in seconds) works, however, Power State "poweredOff (0)" in Zabbix UI, and Single Stat panel returns "0" with the same query. Using version 1.0.4.
Tried using the regex function and entering "\D", however, this also failed.
Hello, it seems the integration with Zabbix datasource is not working. I tried to use Processor Time, but I'm not able to display the metric with its alias and value, under the panel title.
Very useful plug-in, implementation of zabbix ds support will be very helpful.
As it has been mentionned above, be informed the plug-in is working with Zabbix Data Source in version 1.0.4 (at least, when returned value is digit, like "CPU user time", etc...). I use Grafana v4.3.2 and Zabbix v3.2.6.
Tips : if alias is not set (see "Functions" field from "Metrics" tab), you have to use the "item" name as alias. As a first step and in order to check if your config is working, simply set "Handler Type => Text Only" and "Display Type => Regular"...

Pls your plugin is so cool but It would be great to have Zabbix as a datasource
We are more than 5 thousand in the community zabbix brazil, and we would also like that if possible could add the datasource zabbix to work in the status panel, we would be very grateful because for us is one of the best plugins ever created
We use Grafana at version 5.2.2 Zabbix at version 3.9.1 Status Panel at version 1.0.7 I tried to see just something at Status Panel and the tipps from @eurif. But still I cannot get Status Panel to display the real status (it is "ok" no matter what). Is there some positive infos on how Status Panel is co-working with Zabbix?
