return endpoint restful http message instead of statusText

in method request ... fetch if not response.ok you throw error with the response.statusText instead of the real http response object mesage

this is the change i'm suggesting: if( response.ok ) { return response.json() } else { return response.json().then((data) => { throw new Error(data.message); }); }
