Cannot turn on cloud synchronization
I would very much like to use this app because of its feature to sync across my Windows 10 devices via OneDrive, but I am having a problem.
When I go to Settings and click on "Turn on cloud synchronization", the app closes immediately. At this point I do get an email notification from Microsoft that "I have given the app permission to access my data". However if I then open the app again and go to Settings, it is still saying that "Cloud synchronization is currently turned off". I don't have the "Cloud synchronization" tab in Settings to generate/display a Personal key for syncing across devices.
I can't believe I am doing something wrong since it's so simple to setup syncing.
Can you please help me with this problem rather urgently, and let me know if you need any more information that I can provide.

(2) I also have created a few Directory Junctions in OneDrive which I did not think of mentioning in my original report. For example: mklink /J "D:\foldername" "%UserProfile%\OneDrive\foldername"
similar for me.
I also get the same problem. Is it linked to permissions on Windows 10? Does the app need some permissions from Windows?

Snap, happening here too... win 10 1909 (But not for much longer...)
I am seeing the same issue. New Win10 machine, fresh install, the app crashes when attempting to turn on cloud sync. Win 10 Pro - 21H2
FWIW, this issue also appears on Win11 Pro - 22H2
