Reloading textures causes VR to be stuck on one frame LINUX

Open TyTubeRoblox opened this issue 2 months ago • 6 comments

When textures are reloaded for ANY REASON, the view inside the VR headset is held on one frame, while the rest of SteamVR seems to work fine

Vivecraft/MC version: 1.3.3/1.21.10

Screenshot 1: what SteamVR is sending to the headset VS what Minecraft is rendering (stock settings) VR view and Minecraft showing different frames when they are meant to be roughly similar Screenshot 2: Neofetch (Ubuntu 25.10) Neofetch showing information about ty@TTR-Battlestation

Latest log during recreation attempt (was different mod setup but still same) latest.log

probably the same steamvr issue as #280

you should be able to fix it by toggling vr off and on again

ye but once I do, the same issue is able to happen again, and I play on a server with a custom resource pack that I would actually like to use, and the only method of restarting VR is on the title screen (but ima try hotswitching and see if that works)

the only method of restarting VR is on the title screen

no, you can at any point switch it through the mod menu, VR settings search, or pressing right crtl + F7 on the keyboard
