Is this compatible with Immersive Aircraft?
I mean controlling aircrafts (especially biplanes) from that mod :-)
This is to report issues, not ask if something works. But I did some improvements in refards to that for the upcoming version 1.3.0
I tested Immersive Aircraft v1.3.3 with Vivecraft 1.2.5 on 1.21.1 NeoForge, and it's playable, but not great. The only thing I had to do to get the basics functional was bind the dismount button to the radial menu. Throttle, pitch, roll, and weapons worked out of the box.
The main issue is that you don't rotate with the roll and pitch of the plane, only yaw. This makes it nearly impossible to see where you're going, since you end up with the camera everywhere but in the cockpit, usually behind/inside something that completely occludes your view. This is made much worse by addons like Aviator Dreams (or the reloaded version), which have larger planes with full interiors that become completely impossible to fly because you can't see anything unless you're flying straight and level.
A less critical issue is also that the roll/pitch controls (left joystick) are treated as binary on-off instead of analog inputs, so precise control is impossible. I'm not sure if this is something that could be handled in Vivecraft, though. I assume IA would need to add analog support, assuming that's something the API provides.
