[Question] Intel support?
The title kinda says the main point, i built a new PC recently and didnt think to check if my GPU could support Vivecraft, since i knew it could play VR games on steam I assumed it would be the same, lesson learned i guess lol.
I did some digging and saw that (as far as i could tell) the last time someone brought this up was around a year ago, so im not expecting much to have changed on this subject but thought it was worth asking regardless.
Ive tried forcing Minecraft to use my AMD integrated GPU, (which i didnt expect to really work/run very well, it was mostly a test), but it seems that either SteamVR or Virtual Desktop would force it back to my dedicated (Intel) GPU.
For reference, my dedicated GPU is an Intel Arc B580 and my integrated GPU is an AMD Radeon, using Virtual Desktop and a Quest 2 on the NeoForge 1.20.4 version.
Thanks! :>
there is really nothing we can do. From testin intels drivers just produce garbage/a black screen when using them on windows. For now the best option is using linux, it works fine there with intel. The next version will also have a hidden config option, that disables the intel/windows block. That is meant for easier testing though, in case intel does fix them eventually. There is already a test build of that on the discord, if you want to try that. As for using the amd gpu, make sure you monitor is plugged into the mainboard, if you want to use it. programs default to the gpu that the monitor is plugged in afaik.
