It's actually possible to get this game to boot correctly if you get a ps4 save file (this game has cross platform saving).
That's said, you'll only see the hud, and a black screen, so it's still unplayable
This is what I'm getting on second stage on steam deck but not on windows PC (issues start with bird dialogue cutscene). PCSH00218 also considered to be fixed.

There is a major graphical issue in this game with the "High" renderer accuracy setting in the GPU tab with the latest daily Vita3k version (v0.2.0 3818-2d1a4041) with the Vulcan renderer on my system. Putting the setting to "Standard" fixes the issue. It's interesting that the issue occurs only when the first level on the battlefield starts, it doesn't occur in the gameplay intro section with the little girl reading the book and in the cutscenes preceding the first level. I didn't use upscaling and ticking on and off various graphics settings doesn't fix the issue. The screen filter options also have no effect. That is why the issue lies solely on the "High" rendered accuracy setting. Other Vanillaware games work correctly with the "High" setting on the same system and Vita3k version. If the issue is not just on my system it might be useful for developers to check this.
