[Bug] Ctrl-tab behavior is different when held down and when pressed quickly

When I press ctrl-tab, and keep ctrl held down briefly, I am able to correctly switch to the most recently used tab. However, when I quickly press ctrl-tab and immediately release both, it seems to switch to random tab, in no discernible order (it's not the tab directly to the right, either). Any ideas why this might be happening?

I am also experiencing the same issue - version 1.4.0 (though it seems this repo is getting a bit stale)

it seems to only happen when the modal isn't opened (it opens after a delay, see #25 )

I’ve run into this issue too and just realized I had the previous and next tab hotkeys mixed up (like in your screenshot). Swapping them fixed everything!
