Publishing from backend

Is there anyway to simply publish from a backend? front to front end is easy.. but since minion uses providers.. Not able to used in controller or model.

Any suggestions?

I would need more information about your use case, and what you are trying to accomplish to answer that first question. There is nothing preventing you from using minion or a traditional thruway client anywhere in your application.
