error in running recognizer.py file

i tried to follow your instructions to run the scribe. i installed everything fine while running recognizer.py file i stuck with issue server not connected and device index integer has to be ... can you give me any solution .

note: 1.hmm 2.ln 3.recoginer.py all should be in same folder

device_info=p.get_device_info_by_index(device) error : a integer is required can you give me any solutions?
