repl on the bottom makes status window disappear

When I launch repl on the bottom the status window just disappears image As seen below, anyone else experiences the same prob? WSL Ubuntu NVIM v0.10.0-dev Using https://github.com/itchyny/lightline.vim (I will gladly use an alternative 'powerline')

Hey @yelled1, I do not have this problem with WSL. I am using lualine. What is your setup? I can see if I can recreate this issue.
