Attacking Movement Issues in <=1.20.6

Bug Description
When attacking a player and moving left, right, or backwards, it flags Simulation in GrimAC.
Doesn't happen with other mobs, only Players/NPCs.
Steps to Reproduce
Join eu.loyisa.cn (w/ 1.20.6 or below)
come to 139 62 196 where the "Standing" NPC is
Attack the npc while moving left, right, or backwards
Expected Behavior
No flagging
Someone suggested that
"this sounds like you aren't translating the input vector changes correctly"
Cannot reproduce that on the latest build. Could you please include a video?
Cannot reproduce anymore, wonder which commit fixed it
