using it's latest snapshot prevents fabric server from closeing

Steps to Reproduce

1.create 1.20.6 fabric server 2.install latest viaversion viabackward and viarewind mods 3.run server 4.run /stop

Expected Behavior

server closing normally

Remove ViaRewind, does the issue still happen?

I'm running into this as well. Removing ViaRewind allows the server to stop successfully.

Please provide a ViaVersion dump using /viaversion dump in your console or ingame.

That appears to output nothing in the console for me. Does this output to a file or something?

If you are on fabric, run /viafabric dump

Cannot reproduce this on my local Linux machine, other than 1.20.6 being horribly slow at saving worlds for some reason, If you want this to be reopened then produce the results when comparing 1.20.4 VS 1.20.6 servers with both fabric and paper respectively.

If you are on fabric, run /viafabric dump

This is impossible to run on the server, meanwhile viaversion dump results in nothing including the available linked cmds.
