Bug Description

Joining on 1.20.x server with 1.16.x client won't give you knockback in certain situations.

Steps to Reproduce

1. join with 1.16.x client on 1.20.x server
2. put on elytra and try to get stuck between blocks (make yourself in gliding state)
3. glide on the corner of the block and click on CTRL

You won't get any knockback no matter what.

Try without other plugins, generally something like this would be on anticheats/simply different client behavior we cannot change
