bnk files not unpacking at all
im trying to unpack some bnk files from metal gear rising, but they arent converting to MP3. it says its done, but no files appear
Sadly the .bnk files in MGR contain only looping data for music (as far as i know. They may contain other data but i haven found anything more) . The .wem files with the actual music are stored in .cpk archives. stream.cpk containing (almost) all of the music in the game. I personly use (CRI File System tools) for packing/unpacing for this game. And in all fairnes this game's sound engine was made ass backwards in some cases (compared to later games). I did my fair share of digging in the sound files of MGR for a project i had in mind (Failed) so feel free to dm me for any questions or the general overviev.

ah, i wanted to do some digging in the music files, to get my hands on the raw music and vocals, its a shame. is there any other way to rip the audio?
As i mentioned you can use (CRI File System tools) to rip the .wem files and use ww2ogg to conver them .ogg i have a lot of other apps for these files (and all of the boss fight music separetad by folders) but on my home pc (at work rn/can't remember of the top ofmy head). I'll be home around 9pm(Ukrainian time) so if you're willing to wait i can provide a lot more information.

Also while you wait you can download the MGR demo that was included on Zone Of The Enders disc ( https://digiex.net/threads/metal-gear-rising-revengeance-xbox-360-demo-download-jtag-rgh-only.11715/ ) The files contain demo boss music. Almost final versions of the songs with rough vocals and no dubstep fills, in some songs like The Stains of Time even uncut guitar riffs.
