I got this error after the connection is made

Are you on a pretty slow connection to the remote machine? If so, can you try going to Tools -> Options, and changing the "Network read timeout" setting to something much longer. Does that make any difference?

Also is this happening every single time you try and use it or is it only sometimes or only on some remote machines?

I increased the Network read timeout and got the same error This error happens on some remote machines only, but works fine at others.

Hmm ok, thanks for confirming.

On the server side, can you try using the /debug and /v arguments, then seeing what errors you get in the server side shell where you ran the VbRev exe from? So:

VbRev.exe [IP] [Port] /debug /v

Also do other reverse shells work from these problem machines? netcat etc

Yes other reverse shells works fine with no problems
