I can't use this first setup in Mainland China
I have an internet connection, but the setup says "no internet connection", I make sure the internet connection is available, but I still can't run the setup, I can only skip the setup!
I believe it was effected by the great firewall
I'm using 22.10 Kinetic. But I'm not sure if this will happen in Vanilla OS 2 Beta
这个项目原来有大陆用户啊，这玩意检查网络的方法是ping google，但是google你懂的，被墙了，所以没有网络。
In the China, google.com is blocked by GFW, so change it to which website can access in Mainland China, such like bing.com, can improve accessibility in Mainland.
It would be best to check if a connection to https://flathub.org can be made, as this is the main repo used in first setup through flatpak.

flathub.org can access in Mainland.
Oh no currently it does use google, I was just suggesting that we should be using flathub.org as flathub being blocked would mean that first setup in general does not work

Vanilla first setup actually uses cloudflare to test network connectivity, is cloudflare.com banned in china? https://github.com/Vanilla-OS/first-setup/blob/main/vanilla_first_setup/utils/processor.py#L75
cloudflare is not fully banned, i am not sure about the specific. a lot of site on cloudflare can be accessed, but still have many website is blocked.
I tested new version orchid, it's useful.
