Demo Proposal: DMNO - open-source configuration toolkit
- Draft Title: DMNO - open-source configuration toolkit
- Length: 10min - but could do longer and provide more context on the problem and other existing tools
I will give an overview of the common pitfalls we all encounter when managing configuration and secrets - difficulties with collaboration, risks of leaking sensitive info, and technical challenges.
Then give a short demo of how DMNO, a free and open-source tool I am building, can help solve these problems. Highlights of DMNO features include:
- validation, coercion, full type-safety with built-in docs
- pull sensitive info from secure backends like 1Password or encrypted files
- drop in integrations for many tools and platforms (next, remix, astro, vite, cloudflare, vercel, etc)
- leak detection and prevention
- sharing config across a monorepo
