[Feature Request] Remote Play Together for non-Steam games

Open Newbytee opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

Currently, even if you launch a non-Steam game via Steam, the overlay does not let you invite other people to Remote Play Together. I would like for this to be enabled, as I have games I'd like to play with others that are not available on Steam

I can't believe this feature request hasn't gained more attention. This would make it so emulation would also be available to play with friends.

I'm guessing it won't happen since there's very little benefit for Valve in doing this and a non-zero risk of legal consequences.
