Controller mapping is broken for >1 controller in use

Open johndrinkwater opened this issue 12 years ago • 2 comments

Had my logitech rumblepad and dualshock 4 both plugged in.

When navigating the interface to get to the controller settings, it will show the name of the active controller. Going to edit the controls, it will show the most recent mapping (of my dualshock 4) and not active controller’s map, therefore you cannot remap more than one controller.

Have same here use:

  • Razer Onza TE
  • Xbox 360 Standard controller
  • Xbox One wireless controller (via usb)

Razer failes to use "a" button and may be some other (x uses as b), navigating with sticks and d-pad works though XOne controller sometimes "misses" and forget stick navigation, d-pad works fine though Xbox 360 standard gamepad works fine (didn't notice anything strange)

Run on SteamOS with beta update profile (autoinstall) Yeah, I've remembered got ps2/3 compatible thrustmaster gamepad and it has issues too (don't remember what exactly they was)
