Your system information

  • Steam client version (build number or date): 1746834312
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): SteamOS Holo
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
  • Steam Logs: [generate by running this command in a terminal tar -zcvf ~/Desktop/steam-logs.tar.gz ~/.steam/steam/logs]
  • GPU:AMD

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

On the Steam Deck game mode, scrolling with a wired mouse on a docked Steam Deck OLED. Within Collections. When I scroll up or down through any specific collection, I expect the games to scroll up and down through the games, but instead, it will scroll a bit in the proper direction and then bounce back several lines of games. Scrolling fast or slow, this can happen. You will eventually be able to scroll completely up or down, but the behaviour is almost like you are warping instantly back a line or two while scrolling, almost as if they page is being refreshed to the incorrect position. Difficult to explain, except it seems erratic and buggy. Scrolling with a wireless controller or the Steam Decks controls has no issue. This behaviour only happens within the Collections tab. It does not happen within Great On Deck, All Games, Installed, Favorites, Non-Steam Games, or the Soundtracks tab.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. In Steam Deck game mode, go to the Library.
  2. Go to the Collections tab.
  3. Open any collection that has enough games to allow for scrolling.
  4. Scroll up or down through the available games list.

I'm encountering a similar issue when using the touchscreen.

This issue also occurs in settings and media when using the touchscreen.
