Hello @MrDotDan, this issue should be reported to and evaluated by the game's dev(s).

@MrDotDan & I are experiencing the same issue, with Different games.

My Issue Thread: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/11946

Our issues should have been tagged as potential duplicate or similar.

I have already contacted the Publisher/Developer and they've stated this issue is caused by Steam Client Update.

They claim it is up to Valve to fix.

@MrDotDan If you could, can you confirm if the DLC's are installed in their destination folder?

I had the same problem under Debian 12 as the initial poster. This workaround posted on reddit solved it:

If you copy the dlc files from the steamapps/common/Democracy 3/mods folder and paste them into your user data folder in democracy3/mods then they will load properly. I'm not sure if your directories would be different on manjaro so I'm not certain exactly what your user data folder(s) are called, for ubuntu and its derivatives you would paste the mods in ~/.local/share/democracy3/mods

The files there to copy in my case were dlc1.d3mod, dlc2.d3mod and dlc3.d3mod.

Afterward the policies from the DLCs "Clones and Drones", "Social Engineering" and "Extremism" now show up in the game. However, the Steam window shown in the screenshot remains the same (missing sizes, no mention of "Extremism" DLC, …).

I don't know whose responsibility this issue is. I'm just leaving this here so others with the same problem may find it more easily.
