Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
From this issue https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/2446 in Bazzite . I have 2 issues.
- The gaming mode scaling was looking huge, and it had some crashes when using the gaming mode.
- I cannot use the FSR as a scaling type in any games.
Hello @KarinnoAmp, https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/11865#issuecomment-2771034614 is relevant here. Please elaborate on what scaling issue you're seeing as it's not clear from your description.
I have the same problem on Ally. By scaling, we mean everything is HUGE. If everything was 100% size (Steam and its entire UI, fonts, all icons and badges etc.) are now 400% BIGGER.
@kisak-valve Normally, before the update display scaling is like 100%, but after an update, it increases to more than 100% (~125%-150%). I tried to reduce in steam settings, but nothing happened
game mode scaling sounds similar to: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/11848
fsr missing is because platform-specific sharpening options now live under the "Sharp" notch:
I also cannot use FSR on my ROG Ally
