[Library] - Scrolling down the "Library Filters" causes the entire Steam UI to be pushed upwards.

  • Steam client version (build number or date): 1726604483 (Stable) / 1729208001 (Beta)
  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): SteamOS 3.5.19 / 3.6.19 / 3.7.0 (Deck) and Manjaro w/ Gnome 46 (Desktop)
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Issue is present on both Stable and Beta
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
  • Steam Logs: steam-logs.tar.gz
  • GPU: AMD Van Gogh RDNA 2.0 (Steam Deck) and RX 7800XT (Desktop)

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Upon scrolling down the advanced options of the Library Filters, the entire Steam UI gets pushed upwards. This results in the SteamOS header to be moved off-screen and a large gap to appear below the footer.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Navigate to Steam > Library.
  2. Press X to open the Library Filters.
  3. If the modal is not fully expanded, navigate down to Show Advanced and press A.
  4. Press (Joystick or D-PAD).

Affected Devices

  • LCD: Yes
  • OLED: Yes
  • Desktop Deck-like session (gamescope -e -- steam -gamepadui -steamdeck): Yes
  • Desktop: Yes, in Big Picture Mode.

Actual result

  • Upon scrolling down to the advance options of the Library Filters the SteamOS user interface is visibly pushed upwards causing it to be rendered incorrectly.

Expected result

  • Upon scrolling down to the advance options of the Library Filters the SteamOS header and footer remain in the same positions as prior to opening the Library Filters.

Notes

  • This issue does not occur if you scroll down the Library Filters using the touchscreen (Deck).
  • This issue can be resolved by dismissing the Library Filters and navigating back to highlight the Universal Search text field or opening the Steam / QAM menu.
