Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I want to stream my games from my host system (Linux Mint 22) to my Steam Deck LCD (inhouse). But when trying to stream, i just see the loading screen with the game banner on my Steam Deck. On my host system, the game is starting (for example Hogwarts Legacy with no specific Proton Version - just the one steam proposes). I just hear the sound of the game but no video - just the loading screen to connect to Steam Remote Play. Also testet with Manor Lords (black screen) and Skyrim (also black screen). In Docked Mode, the connection is aborting. On my Host System all seems good. There i can interact with the game.
Remote Play Host Options: all disabled and encoding-processes to automatic
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Start Host (Mint 22) and Client System (Steam Deck LCD) and Steam
- switch game on the Steam Deck, to stream from my Host System instead of local gaming
- Start streaming the game
- on my Host System (Mint 22), the game is starting
- on my Client System (Steam Deck), i just hear the sound and the loading screen to connect to the host system and the game
- Not able to stream the video from the game
A little bit background information: last week i upgraded from Mint 21.3 to 22 - don't know if the problem also occurred on 21.3
Hope someone can help me :) Didn't found something similar - a few things with Remote Play but not exactly with Mint, Kisak-Mesa, etc. If you need further information, let me know. Thank you all a lot! Makoto009
