Official story - Stucked hours cause of a shortcut

I started the game 3 days ago. All puzzles was some of easy, but I found myself stucked hours and hours in one of them, until I decide to seek solution. What a suprise, I was stuck on this puzzle cause I found a shortcut and a bug :) The room should have been activated just before, and have some blue and water thing ^^

It looks like, this is due to you skipping the necessary trigger to activate gels, which is located at chamber's entrance. This is a map related oversight and not linux-exclusive port issue.
