[Portal 2] Graphical artifacts with Nvidia

OS: Windows 10 64Bit - Version 1909 Game the issue occurs: Portal 2 Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 960 and all recent Nvidia cards. Not sure if this happens on AMD as well Driver version: 441.87 (and all previous versions since around 6 or 7 years ago) RAM: 16 GB CPU: Intel i5-4670

There are graphical artifacts in some areas. The issue is very old (more than 6 years) and never got fixed:

Start a new game on Cold Boot chapter and you can see it on a couple of surfaces in the first level, the one pictured is on the floor at the end. There are other areas scattered through the game where this appears.
