Poor performance Intel HD 4400

Windows, most of the time reaches 60 FPS 720p except sometimes where it hits 30fps. Linux stays at 30 fps and easily hits 20 fps in parts when it would still be 60 FPS on Windows. I'm using Ubuntu MATE and Xonotic SDL hits 60 FPS at 1080p while on Windows it hits only 30 at same settings. I think it has to do with the fact that SDL on Xonotic gets direct access to the GPU while Portal 2 is just using whatever it gets. At least Xonotic proves I don't have faulty drivers.

Same here, but in my case, with an intel hd graphics 4000.

I gained more performance by typing "r_shadows 0" into the console. It turns off the dynamic shadows.

Same thing on HD 4000, really choppy at minimum settings and 720p
