Half-Life Steam misses the DirectInput gamepad left & right triggers
Hi
I'm on Arch Linux KDE.
As https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife/issues/2711, unlike Half-Life WON able to directly bind a DirectInput gamepad button to a command in the commands menu, for Half-Life Steam I listen a unbound gamepad button (by pressing it ingame, then e.g. "AUX8 is unbound" displayed in the console) then bind it in the console (e.g. bind "AUX8" "+use" ). The issue: unlike Half-Life WON, Half-Life Steam misses the DirectInput gamepad left & right triggers (buttons on my Logitech Dual Action, not analog ): no "such_gamepad_key is unbound" in the console.
I want at least the left trigger to +duck.
Best regards.
Update: I use AntiMicroX to map the left trigger to the left shift key. Despite https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife/issues, Valve doesn't seem to care, regarding other issues...
