halflife [CS 1.6] Keyboard stuck

Sometimes when i die my keyboard goes stuck or something like that. I can't use any buttons in-game anymore until new round starts.

Confirm, this happens randomly after connecting to the random server. There's no logic, but bug exists.

Maybe this is the "spec_menu 0" bug? Dying while holding shift/CTRL/+duck will make your keyboard "stuck," except you can still hit ~ (console) and fix it by typing in "spec_menu 0". It may have been fixed but I could not find any info about it here...

@alfred-valve this bug happens mostly when you press mouse1/mouse2 or jump or tab and at the same time you get killed this happens allot in knife servers

So is this the keyboard getting stuck or mouse clicks getting ignored? We have separate bugs (and fixes) for the mouse click issues. Are you seeing that hitting a key on the keyboard also stops working?

@alfred-valve keybord and mouse stops working I think even to open the console are not possible until you spawn

@MaximilianKohler commented : think what causes it is hitting tab(maybe any button) really quick after you die, but that's just a guess. I believe it also used to cause crashes and the crashing part was fixed in the last round of updates a few years ago. Maybe if you looked at what they did for that it might have some clues.

It happened to me today when i was playing FFA. Well guessed man, this is in fact related to tab.

I will try to find a reproductible way.
