Black square around the sprites when you kill the Nihilanth

When you kill the Nihilanth in Half-Life, he'll shoot out a bunch of energy beams, which will eventually impact the walls and make explosions. The sprites for these explosions have a big black squares around them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQdqfM-OzKw

That's a sprite transparency issue.

This is a problem with the map. Those sprites have render mode normal set, but should be using render mode additive instead.
