Microstuttering and terrible frametime when using WSI

Are you using any gamescope patches or a forked version of gamescope?

  • [x] The issue occurs on upstream gamescope without any modifications

Current Behavior

Microstuttering and horrible frametime when using WSI on Steam Deck LCD/OLED. We have tested and when disabling WSI ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=0, the frametime became smooth and the image became smooth without microstutters. On OLED, disabling WSI results in inaccessibility of HDR. Also on SteamOS 3.5 with gamescope-3.14.2-1 there are no problems with frametime and microstutters. Screenshots with and without WSI are attached below. So please pay attention to this problem!
