Gamescope crashes if window size is around 1920x1080 during Steam launch

I am starting Steam inside gamescope like this:

gamescope -w 1920 -h 1080 -e -- flatpak run com.valvesoftware.Steam

Howerver, if I maximize the window after I launch this command it gonna crash just after Steam launches. Though, if I let it launch completely while minimized (less than 1920x1080) and then maximize the window it works as expected without any problems.
