Inconsistent frame rates on consecutive game launches

Open GoranKovac opened this issue 4 months ago • 27 comments

Noticed this issue for some time now. Tested on KDE and Hyprland but same outcome.

Frame rates are different on consecutive game launches, on my end ranges from 500 to 600fps:

  1. Launch the game
  2. Practice/Competitive/Dust2 no bots 2.1. You can see in Team selection scene difference but I stick with looking at certain spot
  3. Fps shows stable 500FPS
  4. Close the game
  5. Redo all steps
  6. Fps now shows stable 570fps

It wont immediately change sometimes but on 3rd 4th 5th run it will (either higher or lower fps than run before). Sometime it even went past 600fps or below 500fps.

Here are some screenshots: 570FPS Image 500FPS Image 550FPS Image 511FPS Image

~~GPU utilization is same no matter what fps is and GPU clocks are also the same in all cases:~~ EDIT: This is a mistake, new round of testing showed otherwise Image

CPU is hitting 4.4 on all cores every time Image
