For me it uses up 11 GB of video memory, beefy game, you could enable mangohud and monitor GPU utilization.

Also when cs2 start lagging like play at 15-30fps i got spamming message in cs2 console: "[InputSystem] Processing SDL events took 50.1ms"

Same here, around half an hour in the game becomes unplayable. If I'm not sending any keyboard or mouse input it's smooth but the moment I hold down a key or move the mouse it goes down to 30fps and the console is flooded with SDL events taking ~50ms. I'm using nvidia gtx1070 on wayland.

Same here, but I find that by replacing the router that the PC connnected to, the spamming message like:"[InputSystem] Processing SDL events took 50.1ms" will less occur

The problem is still relevant. My video card is RX9070XT. After an hour and a half of gaming the vram consumption is more than 13GB! I sympathize with those who have less video memory.

Same here, and when the issue happens you can see this message in the console:

[InputSystem] Processing SDL events took 50.1ms

This issue has been here for at least all of 2025 afaik.

I haven't played CS2 in months and I'm surprised to get notifications for this. How is this still not fixed? I know for a fact that it used to work just fine last year.

Indeed, this bug killed the buzz for me somewhere around new year. After a while off and I come back, the issue is still there.
