Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When running CS2 on steam deck in game mode, the game launches and shows the Valve logo, and then subsequently shows a black screen. When moving the cursor around, I can hear the UI elements reacting to the cursor, but nothing shows up on screen.

The game launches fine when I use my Steam deck in desktop mode. I also encounter the same issue when launching the game with gamescope in desktop mode as follows: gamescope -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 3840 -H 2160 -F fsr -b -- %command%

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Attach an external monitor to Steam deck
  2. Launch CS2 in Steam deck game mode, or with gamescope
  3. Game launches and shows Valve logo
  4. After the Valve logo, the game shows a black screen

Same issue here I haven't used an external monitor so it shouldn't be related to that.

There is kinda a workaround for this issue, reset your Anti-Aliasing to default. (or delete the userdata folder ~/.steam/steam/userdata/ur steam id/730 to reset the in-game settings)

Steam OS 3.7 fixes this issue too bad 3.7 has broken controls.

Have the same issue. Happens whenever I change my AntiAliasing, regardless of whether or not I turn it up or down. If it's not on 4X MSAA, then it stalls.
