[Danger Zone] Disconnect: Couldn't CRC maps/dz_blacksite.bsp
Your system information
- System information from steam (
Steam

) in a gist: https://gist.github.com/nightsky30/127268dd7f0ae254c401c31262e926ef - Have you checked for system updates?: [Yes]
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
When attempting to play Blacksite in Danger Zone there appears to be a disconnect occurring during the map load. All other maps seem fine. I've already verified local files. The issue persists.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Launch CS:GO
- Attempt to join a game of Danger Zone during the Blacksite map cycle
- Experience the disconnect error
I have not had this issue, played multiple blacksite matches today.
I've continued to try and validate the integrity of my local game files, and every time it seems to indicate between 2 and 4 files were flagged and supposedly redownloaded. No amount of validation seems to fix this issue.
Sounds like that you have some bad sectors in your drive.
You can verify that by running fsck
on the partition while it's unmounted with the -c
flag (assuming you got ext4
). Note: it is going to take a while.
In case it finds bad sectors, the problem is in your drive and thus outside of scope for csgo && is not a bug.
