FPS drop after second map load

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
The fps drops after operation update. Menu is working very good but in game fps dropped from about 90 to less than 1. This occurs after loading the second map. The first loaded map runs at 90 fps but when the game loads new map the fps drops extremely. Sometimes even on the first map and sometimes when playing wingman or war games (the smaller maps) bug doesn't occurs at all. Restarting the game temporally fixes the bug.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Load first map
- Load second map
- The fps should drop
I am experiencing the same issue. Sometimes it will fix after I quit and validate files. Also, try changing your resolution after second maps loads and fps drop. It helped me sometimes.

I copied the game folder after the map load and compared with game folder after integrity check. Following files are different:

I have this problem too. Any updates? It's frustrated to relaunch CSGO after every map.

I was experimenting a little. When I logged on another account issue disappeared. On the main account what I found out working as "quick fix" is changing the resolution to 1 lower or higher at the start of the match. It somehow unlocks meshes or materials that are corrupted and fps jump from 2-5 to 100-120. NOTE I was doing integrity checks on a different account and it still found 2 different files and it still doesn't work on the main acc. I think its account correlated and therefore it won't be fixed soon :/
I switched to arch (from fedora/manjaro), to awesomeWM (from gnome/xfce/kde) and to AMD from Nvidia. The bug does not appear anymore.
The last comment sounds like the Nvidia (driver) could be the problem. I am running Archlinux with awesomewm and Nvidia and experiencing this issue. I wouldn't say it happens every 2nd map, but still very commonly (at least once during each gaming session). It's getting worse if more programs are running in the background. Wonder if anyone with an AMD card runs into this problem?
I can thus confirm that @VladCebula hint about changing the resolution when it appears fixes that behavior for me reliably. Thanks for that tip (way better solution than just restarting CSGO constantly).
I'm on archlinux with xfce and latest proprietary nvidia drivers, facing the same problem :3
I'm on Manjaro, Gnome, Nvidia, facing exactly same problem - sometimes on map load (even first map) FPS drops to 15 (from 120 usually). Switching resolution helps, but same FPS drop may come back during same map later.
