Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Zero-K (https://store.steampowered.com/app/334920) is marked as Unsupported on Steam Deck / SteamOS despite being a Linux-native title. Additionally, if you then try to install the game anyways, the default compatibility layer is set to Proton 7.0-4. This causes the game to crash, since again, it is actually a Linux-native title. If you go into the game's properties and force the compatibility layer to use Steam Linux Runtime, the game will then work.
Can we please reevaluate this game's Steam Deck / SteamOS compatibility rating and default settings? Thanks!
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- Install Zero-K on SteamOS device / Steam Deck
- Attempt to launch (it should crash)
- Go into game properties and force the usage of Steam Linux Runtime
- Launch again (it should work now)
I believe that game devs can request a re-evaluation via Steam somehow. I don't think that this issue tracker is the right place for this 🤔
