Your system information

  • Steam client version: 1719453458
  • SteamOS version: 3.6.8
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
  • Opted into SteamOS beta?: Yes
  • Have you checked for updates in Settings > System?: Yes

It seems that the option "Unified frame management" which was there to revert the framelimiter looks to the old one (which had framerate and refresh rate in 2 separated slider) is now missing

Same, being able to overclock LCD display to 70 hz is priceless

The system that third party tools used to use to override the display refresh rate is no longer available in SteamOS 3.6.

We understand that gamescope configuration overrides are important to users, so we've been working on bringing these back for SteamOS 3.7 via a proper configuration system for gamescope. You can read the details here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope/tree/master/scripts

Please note that overclocking the LCD display is not officially supported, but it is something you'll be able to do if that is your preference.
