Unable to use right joy-cons to move up or left

Demonstrative video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiBKehlslLs If I connect right joy-cons as standalone they're unable to be used to move up or left due to some calibration issue. I tested these joy-cons with a Nintendo Switch and they worked as they should and there was no drift in the calibration menu. So far the left joy-cons work as intended

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Connect the right Joy-Con
2. Attempt to use it

Results

The joy-con seems tilted in the input test screen despite being neutral and using it to go left or up is not possible

Expected

The joy-con should work normally
