Black screen and restart in gaming mode

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I try to play Guild Wars 2. Launcher works ok, but when i click on Play i just get black screen and few moments later restart occures and i see “Verifying installation..” screen. This issue happens only in gaming mode and in SteamOS 3.6. In desktop mode everything works, so maybe it is gamescope related. Anyway no issues in SteamOS 3.5.x even in gaming mode GW2 works great.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Install SteamOS 3.6
2. Start Guild Wars 2
3. Click on Play button in Launcher

I have a similar problem with games that use HDR. Forbidden West, Will Of The Wisps, etc.

This problem also occurs in Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles, Cyberpunk 2077, Days Gone, Disco Elysium, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Red Dead Redemption 2. The only way to help is to turn off HDR in the game or by using the 'DXVK_HDR=0 %command%'
