Please add the option to turn off temporal dithering (FRC) in the video drivers

Hello, I want to ask if it would be possible to please add a switch or command to turn off temporal dithering (FRC) in the Steam Deck's video drivers (or valve dock?) for the output ports?

My monitor already has FRC, so when the deck is outputting to the monitor I see fuzzing movement in greys in gradients, etc. that I do not see on the same monitor when outputting from the intel igpu on my Windows machine. This additional movement is more tiring to the eyes.

We just don't need double-dithering. If it's mandatory, could you please consider changing it from temporal to spatial instead? Or disable it in the dock's hdmi output firmware?

What is the point that video drivers even do this? All monitors are either true bit-depth panels or they already have built-in FRC into the panel.

Thanks!

Just wanted to give a heads-up since I was having a similar/the same issue with an external monitor plugged into my Steam Deck (dark colours dithering and feeling motion sick after some time of use); Setting the refresh rate to 120 rather than 144 (and I presume 30/60 would also work) totally fixed the issue on mine. Not an ideal solution, but good enough for me anyways. Hope that helps!
