I used to be able to use the Gamescope launch command (gamescope -h 800 -H 1080 -f -U %command%) for multiple games for better quality and performance in desktop mode. Since the new update, the command has been through a couple of changes. I have made the appropriate changes (gamescope -h 800 -H 1080 -f -F fsr -- %command%) to my command but each time I run the game, it would flash a black screen and game would stop. I tried running the game multiple times but I haven't gotten it to work. It also seem like once the black screen show up, the game will stop working till I erase all proton files for the appropriate game.

I haven't seen anything reported on r/steamdeck, issues on gamescope's github or steamdeck's discord. I have tried using the old commands, running Steam Tinker Launch, different proton versions, trying different game, reformatting my Steam Deck and using other commands that can be found in "Gamescope --help" but I haven't had any success. I did find that I am able to run the games if I run the command through Konsole.

I'm trying to run half-life in desktop mode with gamescope by changing the launch options to 'gamescope -- %command%', game doesn't launch.
